The Austrian Association for Radiation Protection (Österreichischer Verband für Strahlenschutz, ÖVS) is a communication platform of interested persons and experts for the promotion of health protection in the field of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. The focal points of the association's activities include cooperation with international institutions to intensify a cross-border radiation protection network, stimulating radiation protection-relevant research and development, and the exchange of information through the regular organization of specialist conferences and the publication of electronic and print media.
