Nordic Society for Radiation Protection Conference

The next Nordic Society for Radiation Protection (NSFS) Conference will take place on August 22 - 25, 2011 in Reykjavik, Iceland. Key lectures, including a presentation by IRPA President Ken Kase, will address current challenges in radiation protection and the opportunities they present e.g.:

• in the emerging science and the global harmonization
• in stakeholder engagement and risk communication
• for the system of radiation protection
• for the professionals and the role of their societies.

There will be a special session on the new EU-BSS and its implementation.
