Practical Arrangements on Cooperation Activities signed between IRPA and WNA

Being the voice of RP professionals, IRPA has shown a strong desire for the last two years to cooperate with international bodies/associations.  Whilst WNA ( World Nuclear Association) and IRPA have their specific contributions to radiation protection, collaboration between the two organizations in areas of common interest contribute to the overall joint goal of the safe use of radiation without compromising on quality, and to facilitating the safe use of radiological practices.  The two organizations have therefore agreed to recognize that both can complement each other in promoting the safe use of radiation, and to enhance the cooperation between both organizations in the field of radiation protection. Therefore , IRPA's President, Renate Czarwinski signed in April 2015 with WNA's President, Agneta Rising, an agreement on Practical Arrangements on Cooperation Activities.  The new agreement between IRPA and WNA is an additional step in the cooperation with international bodies relevant to IRPA’s mission, as was the case with the Statement of Purpose signed in 2014 with FORO (Ibero-American Forum of Radiological and Nuclear Regulatory Agencies).
