Japan Health Physics Society - 29 June Webinar on Tritium
The Japan Health Physics Society (JHPS) is holding a webinar titled "How do we find the solution to radiological protection of tritium water?" on 29 June at 15:30-18:15 Japan Standard Time.
Experts in radiation protection from Japan (Dr. Ichiro Yamaguchi), Korea (Prof. Ik Jae Chung) and Taiwan (Dr. Chang, Shu-Jun) will provide their professional views, then residents, fisherman, and local activist in Fukushima will present the current situation, experience, and their thoughts on this issue, followed by a panel discussion.
Japanese/English simultaneous translation will be available through the Zoom webinar system.
There is no charge for foreign participants. However, the number of participants is limited due to the capacity of the webinar, and registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are interested in joning the symposium, please email your name and nationality to jhps.intl@jhps.or.jp. JHPS will reply with the Zoom meeting ID and password by 28 June.
