EAARP is a regional professional association for all those involved with applications of radiation. It is composed of members from Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania and Uganda. Its aim is to promote safe peaceful applications of radiation and nuclear technologies. EAARP operates under a constitution that came into force in November 1997. It is a duely registered non-profit making body – has a certificate of registration.
